Already history, but milestones in event communication were the productions for SEL, which were also awarded appropriate prizes.

Trade-fair
Tower of Communication: 11 meter high object with lighting system, 32 monitors and 48 slide projectors was created for a trade fair stand. The multimedia show presented the divisions. The segments could be controlled interactively by the visitor via computer.

POI / Point of Information
Five POI systems with touchscreens, distributed at two exhibition stands, networked via fiber optic cables, connected to an information center. The product information was linked to an orientation system. Interested applicants (students) could enter their data. The “Live Information” button led to a video telephone connection with the information center of the exhibition stand in TV studio quality. That doesn’t sound unusual today, but in 1984 it was a sensation.
